Martha Rampa without a doubt falls into the category of individuals who have dedicated their entire lives to making a difference in this world. After high school she received a scholarship to go to nursing school. There she joined the Hospital Christian Fellowship, a volunteer organization aimed at serving in hospitals and healthcare institutions by preaching the Good News and caring for the elderly and the sick.

She founded AAP Home Based Care, Family Life Program, which provided home based care to people living with HIV/AIDS, in the early 2000s. During this time, Martha was also a member of The International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) and was the Botswana national Representative from 1996 - 2006. She has also attended conferences on volunteerism both in the continent of Africa and internationally.

Under the leadership of Martha, AAP has rehabilitated and cared for children in difficult circumstances (HIV/ AIDS infected orphans and street children), worked towards the eradication of child poverty, child labor and child exploitation. At the moment, their work consists of providing the children with at least one nutritious meal per day, adequate clothing, support with their education, and religious and emotional support.

They also work with the terminally ill and with the careers of the children, giving support where it is needed. Every Christmas they provide a special meal and some celebrations for the orphans and destitute children.

They hope to extend all of this work throughout the country and to build an orphanage to provide a loving home for those orphans who would not otherwise have one.

Summing up her continued dedication in a characteristically self-effacing fashion, Mather Rampa said,"There are thousands of people in this country affected by HIV/AIDS. Every day brings unimaginable pain and suffering, especially in the hearts of those children who have lost their parents and who are often left without the love and support which every child deserves. We should all play our part to become a channel of God's love and to help those who are most in need by making a difference in our own special individual ways."
